It is important that all young children are tested for colour blindness. There are at least 2 tests which are used to detect colour blindness, they are the Ishihara test and the Hue test. However, only a professional eye doctor or opthamologist can determine what type of colour blindess a person has. In most cases there is no true cure for colour blindness, there are some lenses available that can correct mild colour blindness for some individuals. You can learn more about these tests on the other pages.
