After our general meeting, Professor Robert Smithson has graciously come to inspire us again with his latest talk on the history of Gemstones in North America. This month he is presenting his discoveries on how the diamond has gradually over the decades become an important commodity in Canadian Trade and how this affects other countries in the present day. Afterwards there will be a question and answer period. Then a signing of Professor Smithson's most recent book Man-made or Nature-made Gems?.
